Chilly Prawn





Ingredients:



Prawn ( Small Prawns)
¼   kg  (250gms)

Ginger-Garlic paste
¼   tsp

Red Chilly /Dhania mix
2   tsp (flat)

Turmeric
Little

Salt
To  Taste

Oil
To  Fry

Curry Leaves
Few

Food Colour ( Red)
Little

Corn Flour
4-5  tsp

Maida
1    tsp




Tip
  • Red Chilly  & Dhania Powder mix :: 100 : 150 gms.
Method :
  • De-shell and wash the Prawn. Drain well. Spread on a cloth to remove excess water.
  • In a bowl, add turmeric , Red chilly/Dhania mix, Ginger-Garlic Paste, Salt [ approx less than 1 tsp], Corn flour, Maida, Food Colour & Curry leaves
  • Mix well and then add prawns, coat well sprinkling little water, paste should be very thick. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat Oil in Kadai/wok . Deep fry the prawns in low flame till it turns golden brown. 
  •  A Good Starter - Serve with sliced onion, carrot & Lemon wedges

Tip : Cooking in low flame tastes better.
