Palak Tomato Gravy



Palak Tomato Gravy  [ Normally served with Rice, Roti  & Chapatti]

Ingredients:
Palak (Chopped)
2  cups
Onion
1  Big
Bangalore Tomato
2  Big
Green Chillies
2  small
Ginger Garlic paste
¼  tsp
Mustard
¼ tsp
Turmeric
2-3 Pinch
Red chilly/Dhania Mix
1 tsp (flat)
Salt
To taste
Oil
2 -3 tbsp
Curry leaves
5-6 nos
Tip :
Red Chilly  & Dhania Powder mix :: 100 : 150 gms.

Method :
  • Cut Onion into thin slices & Green chillies into fine pieces.
  • Chop Tomato into thin small slices
  • Place Kadai /wok pour oil, add mustard wait till it splutters add sliced onion, diced green chillies and fry till onion turns pink.
  • Simmer the flame add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste mix well add turmeric, red chilly /Dhania mix , required salt
  • Fry till soft, add chopped palak mix well, add 1 cup of water.
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Now add curry leaves mix well and further cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • The dish is ready to serve.   

Tip : Cooking in low flame tastes better.
