Fresh Peas Masala ( Gravy) [ Normally served with Pulao, Bread,
Bun, Roti & Chapatti]

Chilly & Dhania Powder mix :: 100 : 150 gms.
|
Method :
- Wash green peas and keep aside
- Chop Onion into fine pieces, chop tomato into
small pieces, Cut green chilly into fine pieces.
- Place Kadai /Wok, pour Oil and when
it is hot add whole Jeera allow it to splutter.
- Now add green chilly, followed by Onion and
fry till pink. Lower the flame.
- Add chopped tomato along with ginger-garlic
paste, chopped mint leaves, mix well , further add turmeric, red chilly
/Dhania mix, ½ tsp salt, Garam Masala powder & Jeera Powder.
- Fry till is becomes soft and oil leaves the
sides. Now add green peas mix well
- Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes, now add
½ cup of water mix well and cook further till
the peas becomes soft & tender.
- If needed little water can be added. Check the
salt, Garnish/Finish with chopped coriander leaves
Tip : Cooking in low flame tastes better.
